You know, if someone had've told me a number of years ago that we'd have air conditioning installed into a house in Yorkshire, I'd have laughed my socks off - but there you go - it's been on all week LoL! Although it's pouring with rain right now; and cooler, so it's switched off . . .

Anyhow, here's one of this week's miniature's for anyone to buy; and I'm still working away towards the next show, as you've probably guessed - we had a holiday last week, but it was back to normal on Monday, still, not complaining - because, how many people can actually say they work at a job they enjoy, so I'm truly grateful that I enjoy creating miniatures; and that it's 'my job' so lucky . . .

What happened to the weather? The heating kicked in a little earlier LoL! I kid you not! Hope you're enjoying the summer so far . . .

Now I'm still getting feedback from those of you who have my private email address, that your messages are bouncing back still. I really do not know what to do, it's not all of the messages; and it's intermittent, so my 'techie' husband will have to dig a little deeper for me, although I do hate to keep asking him!

I'm not a whizz on the pc's with regards to the really heavy technical stuff - I just like to sit at them and use them . . . shame on me . . . but, huge apologies to those of you who are experiencing this frustrating problem with me - why not 'CC' your messages to enquiries@carolcook.co.uk and that way I will receive them. Hope it's sorted soon though!

Hi Everyone! How are you all enjoying the summer so far I wonder? As most of you know I was exhibiting at Kensington last weekend - and I REALLY enjoyed it! Tremendous fun; and thank you so much to those of you who stopped by to say hello - so good to put names to faces etc.

I had fabulous neighbours to both sides of my 'stand' - Ann and her beautiful dolls on one side - great companion and such beautiful work! Then Veronique who created the most gorgeous miniature toys, mini painted goodies; and wonderful little dolls houses for dolls houses so to speak - great fun - as my French leaves a lot to be desired; and her sister was such good fun and company too - they all made my weekend such a pleasure!

Those of you who have emailed to find out about my auctions - just one to get everyone back into the swing this week; and back to normal once again for next week!
