I’ve been really busy, we had our annual summer holiday in France at the start of July – really enjoyable; and as we were really close to the border with Switzerland, we spent quite a lot of time border hopping… I fell in love with the beautiful cows parading around with bells around their necks – I’ve always known they’ve worn them, but completely unaware as to the constant tinkling and the differing sizes of bells, creating quite a melodic wall of sound in every passing field. Just wonderful…
Having an online presence seems to be time consuming these days… There is my website to update, this blog; twitter and facebook; pinterest, flicker and instagram; googleplus and blogger and I’m sure there must be more! so, as you can probably guess, the past year I’ve shoved my head in the sand and hoped they would all go away (just kidding) – however – at what point do you say “How can I manage all these places to update?” Sincere apologies, but a lot of the time the mini’s do and must come first for obvious reasons; and yes I know I must try harder…
Stepping back a while – what about the heat we had! Talk about ‘phew!’ – there was one particular afternoon it reached 37 degrees in my workroom (I have images to prove it LoL) so it was one step forward and quite a few back during our unusual heatwave. Not complaining though!
That’s it for now I think and I have to keep reminding myself of the comment above methinks… ‘Must Try Harder’ – sounds a bit like one of my Junior School teacher’s comments, I think it must’ve been made about my History lessons, I did so hate ‘Kings & Queens’ and dates, I guess it must be an aquired taste as you get older…
